MK Portable Cabin is a manufacturer. Every unit we sell is cut, welded, insulated, floored and wired in our own yard at Mumbra, Thane — so there is no middleman adding a margin, and nobody else to blame when something needs fixing. Over 10 years and 500+ clients, we have supplied contractors, infrastructure firms, solar plants, factories, schools and housing societies across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune and the rest of India.

Sizes that move fastest

These are not a fixed menu. Every unit is cut to your drawing — if your site needs 25 x 10 or 18 x 9, that is what we make.

Why a cabin instead of building a room

A built room needs a mason, a plumber, an electrician, three weeks of your time and a structure you cannot take with you when the project ends. A portable cabin arrives finished: insulated walls and roof so it is a room and not an oven, a proper floor, lockable door, windows with grills, wiring with lights, fans and switchboards, and an AC point if you want one. You place it, switch on the light, and start working the same day.

When the project moves, the cabin moves with it. That is the whole reason contractors stopped building site offices from brick.

Transport is quoted separately and honestly — you get the number before you commit, not after the truck arrives. If a crane or hydra is needed to place the unit, we tell you in advance so the right equipment is ready.

What does a portable cabin cost in Mumbai?

There is no single price. It moves with the size, the insulation you pick, what goes inside (partitions, toilet corner, pantry, electrical) and the delivery distance from our Mumbra yard. Tell us the size and what you need inside, and we give you a firm figure on the same call - no site visit needed to quote.

How long does it take to get one?

A standard unit is usually ready in a few days once the size is fixed. Furnished units with full electrical, flooring and partitions take longer. We give you the honest date on the call rather than promising a day we cannot hold.

Do you only sell around Mumbai?

Our yard is at Mumbra, Thane, so Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Bhiwandi, Panvel, Kalyan and Pune are short runs. We also send units to the rest of Maharashtra and across India for larger projects, with transport quoted honestly by distance.

Can you build a size that is not standard?

Yes. Every unit is cut to the customer drawing. 10x10, 20x8 and 40x10 are simply the sizes that move fastest - if your site needs 25x10 or 18x9, that is what we build.

What base do I need at my site?

A level, firm surface. Compacted murum, a concrete plinth or plain level ground works for most units. What matters is that it is level and that a truck can reach it. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you if anything is needed.

Can the cabin be moved later?

Yes, that is the point. It can be craned onto a truck and re-sited. If you expect to move it often or stack it, ask about a container office instead - the steel shell takes more handling.
